This is a fascinating Third Model Brown Bess Musket with standard 39 inch long barrel and a . 75 inch bore. The stock is walnut, mounts are all brass, and trigger guard has a "ball" front projection indicating that the musket was built for the Royal Navy. The lock is marked with a Crown over G.
