It bears the original label in the neck and a wonderful embroidered Indianhead 2nd Infantry Division patch on the left shoulder
and we can still make out parts of the original address engraving

This is a solid condition Japanese Imperial Army Type 45 Officer's Visor hat. It has a body of brown green wool with a top panel seam of red piping, matching the color of the red wool cap band. The center front of cap features a brass Imperial Japanese Army Star along with brass Army Cherry Blossom chinstrap buttons. The black visor is in good condition, however it does show wear and mothing across the crown. The
