This is a tremendous camouflage M1917 doughboy helmet painted for the Army Air Service at the end of World War I. The camouflage is a very well painted combination of yellow, blue, green, red, and brown colors with the United States Aero Cockade painted on the front, with a winged propellor insignia painted on the center. The paint has worn away a bit over the years, but the insignia is unmistakable and displays
