This is a great example of a German WWII Iron Cross 2nd Class 1939 (Eisernes Kreuz II. Klasse 1939) with an original rayon red, black, and white ribbon. It has been "parade mounted" with the ribbon on a very nice metal backing, which is very attractive and well executed. The award itself does not have a maker mark on the hanger ring that we can see, but this is not uncommon, and many of these awards were unmarked,
