This is a very nice, service worn blouse that belonged to a Major C. E. Peirce of Avel Central, II Field Force and 9th Cavalry. The origins of Avel Central begin with the 335th Signal Detachment. The unit was originally formed on 1 January 1966. Unfortunately we have not been able to find any service information about Major Pierce, but his uniform top tells a story of its own.
