This is a very nice World War Two Era 48 Star American Flag, in a nice displayable 33 x 44. The construction of this example is interesting, being a two piece construction, the flag just being two separate pieces sewn together in the middle. There is a stamp on the left side of the flag which is almost identical to French stamps on items of the period, leading us to believe this is a WWII French manufactured U. S.
