This is an original D Day Eisenhower Message to the Troops letter as issued to allied forces after the Normandy Landings in June 1944, stating that their task is finished. This was the last communique from SHAEF. The letter measures 6 x 9 and is in fair condition with some basic folding and light staining. This is only the third finished letter we have offered. Comes ready for further research and display.
