This is a very good example of a genuine British manufactured Mark II steel helmet, dated 1941 on the chin strap bales, complete with an original liner and chin strap. It comes with a correct early war "Desert Tan" paint job, as used in the Africa Campaign of the war. There is some wear around the stainless steel rim, but nothing major. The stamping on the underside of the shell reads: R O & CO YL II "RO & CO" is the
