This is an very good example of an original U. S. Army musette bag, manufactured in Great Britain during WWII. The bag is of OD Green #3 canvas canvas construction, with slightly lighter tan trim. It is U. S. marked on the top flap. This unique piece of equipment can be worn as a knapsack or shoulder bag, and this example seems to have been set up as the former, as it has combat suspenders attached to it, though the
