This is an original, Pre WWII, terra cotta statue of Benito Mussolini. It depicts Mussolini during the war. The overall height is just over 16 inches. The statue is on a base measuring roughly 4 x 6. The back of the base is inscribed P. NARDELL 6 36 which may indicate a date of June 1936. We believe the sculptor to be Philip Nardell. The base has an inscription which translates to: IF I PROCEED FOLLOW ME IF I GO BACK
