This is a very nice example of a Japanese Good Luck flag, with the signatures of either a friend or family member or the soldier who carried it, with one signature in the bottom right corner that appears to be a location, Ishido machi, Hakata. The large well wish message over the sun appears to be a form of Prayers for Eternal Good Fortune in War, with one added character that may change part of it. Below this is a
