This is a very nice 1894 dated State of New York Militia dress uniform coat constructed of heavy blue wool with yellow collar, shoulder boards and cuffs possibly indicating cavalry issue. All buttons features the State of New York insignia and EXCELSIOR and all are back marked by the National Button Company. Inside the jacket is an original tailor label from BROWNING KING & CO as well as an ink stamp with clear 1894
