This is a fantastic unissued example of a German Model 42 Steel helmet, as issued to the Wehrmacht Heer (army). It shows very little sign of use, and all of the condition issues look to be from long storage. This stamped sheet steel construction helmet has a great look to the late war textured panzergrau (armored gray) paint on the exterior, showing just a bit of scuffing. The smooth interior paint is also great,
