A nice example of a South Vietnamese Army (ARVN) Ranger Officers Beret. Beret is of correct Vietnamese one piece construction, with hand embroidered Ranger flash, and stamped brass 1st Lieutenants (Trung Uy) pin on insignia. The hat shows considerable age from honest period wear, with signs of being worn in a hot, humid environment. Original Plastic Crown sweat shield has since become brittle and has fallen away.
