This is an very nice inert Japanese Type 97 Hand Grenade, which was originally part of a U. S. WWII Japanese Mine Training Aid Set No. 2. This example is offered in very good condition, complete with the fuse still attached to the top, which can be removed to inspect the interior. The fuse cap is still present, though it is held on with a bit of bent wire, and not the original pin. There are the remains of a paper
