Original U.S. WWII Army M1 Swivel Bale Helmet with Painted Lieutenant Rank and Invasion Bar 81mm Mortar Anyone who heard the cryOriginal Item: Only One Available. This is a very nice example of a WWII M1 Helmet, complete with Seaman Paper Company liner. Helmet is of the later front seam, swivel bale variety, with an obfuscated heat lot number (a number 1 and a letter D is readable only). The helmet dates to the Fall of 1944. Helmet is fitted with Olive Drab Chinstraps with painted steel buckle (note the field repaired male end of the buckle!). The shell is painted with a 1st
