Soul Jazz Records: New Orleans Funk 1960-75 3LP Punk And Hardcore Records reviewed by TKB 04/2013This ranks up there in the best comps ever to come through The Lab. Hell, might even be the best. As timing goes, Soul Jazz released this definitive collection right at the height of the New Orleans funk revival in early 2000. It peaked interest to another level and served as an easy and proper introduction to a regional genre that was once protected by $100 Meters records and even pricier Eddie Bo 7"s. Yeah, running down the tracklist is a lesson in
