Eric Kent Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon Appellation Series 2023 Reasonable Cellar and hints of coastal scrubNapa gets the Cabernet headlines, but Sonoma has been quietly ripening it just as fully, with a little more freshness left in the tank. Eric Kent's Appellation Series is small lot work drawn from sustainably farmed Sonoma County sites, aged in good French oak, and built to drink now rather than wait a decade. Every bottle also carries original art from an emerging artist, which is a nice bonus. Generous, dark fruited, and confidently ripe.
