There is superb complexity and fantastic length and this mineral-driven effort should be capable of drinking well after only 12 years or so of bottle age but require a solid 20 before it’s completely mature

Note that if you’re going to try a bottle young to allow for at least 30 minutes of air as the mid-palate really fleshed out the longer it sat in the glass

Good stuff though patience is once again suggested

Thibault Liger-Belair, En Creots Vintage:2020 with peppery and spicy dark(from the Brochon side). A brooding and very earthy nose is more deeply pitched and very Gevrey in character. The rich, concentrated and more powerful medium bodied flavors are firmly structured and serious while exhibiting touch of bitter pit fruit and youthful austerity on the balanced and highly persistent finish. Crots always needs time in bottle to develop and this excellent example will be no exception. Recommended.
