Common Green Charaxes SWAG The specific name of OrnithopteraCharaxes eupale can be found in the lowland evergreen forests of Senegal, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Togo, Nigeria, Cameroon, Gabon, Republic of the Congo, the Central African Republic, Angola, Zambia, Uganda, Sudan, Rwanda, Kenya, Tanzania, & Malawi. Their green coloring is due to pigmentation, as opposed to the color being produced structurally (scales). This specimen is encased in a 3 x 4 frame.
