Carausius. Antoninianus. AD292-3 #sherborne Titchfield on the 28 JulyCarausius (AD 287 293). Billon Antoninianus, mint of London, c. 292 293 AD. Obverse: IMP C CARAVSIVS P F AVG, radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Carausius facing right. Reverse: PAX AVG, Pax standing left, holding branch and transverse sceptre. A well struck example with a very impressive portrait of Carausius. Hard green patina. 3. 57g. 21mm. Very fine, obverse better.
