Tokyo 1975 captures the legendary saxophonist at the height of his powers. He's accompanied by bassist Niels Henning Orsted Pedersen, pianist Kenny Drew, and Espen Rud on drums. The set kicks off with the Gordon original "Fried Bananas," one that's seen extensive play by Gordon over the years. Orsted Pedersen turns in a powerful and precise performance, driving the rhythm forward.
