This is an excellent Volnay villages and one that is also highly recommended

but it should have a long life in bottle

and an elegant spiciness to the mix

Chateau Puligny Montrachet, Chassagne Montrachet other_regions_italy This is an excellent Volnay(from a 50 50 blend of Les Houillres and Champ Derrire). Riper aromas include those of rosemary oil, resin and white peach. The tighter and punchier medium bodied flavors possess very good mid palate density while the finish delivers a bit more depth though not quite the same refinement, indeed this is borderline rustic. Even so, its a quality villages and worth considering.
