Nikka Yoichi Single Malt Whisky Russell's Reserve our 2022 Father's Day releaseThe Yoichi is a bold, pot still whisky made from light peated and non peated malted barley. It doesn't carry an age statement, and it's bottled at 90 proof (45% ABV). This whisky gets its name from the distillery where it's made. Nikka's founder, Masataka Taketsuru, built the Yoichi distillery in 1934 because the region has a similar environmental to Scotland, where he learned to make whisky.
