This is perhaps a bit less mineral-driven than it usually is but this aspect may very well become more evident with age

Those warm growing conditions are evident in the darkness

Pinson Freres, Chablis Forets other_regions_australia This lovely effort is textbook(very old vines of an indeterminate age; vinified in stainless and raised in wood). More evident Chablis character is present on the nose of green fruit, mineral reduction, citrus confit and shellfish scents. There isnt quite the same density to the otherwise solidly powerful and attractively textured medium bodied flavors that conclude in a dry, linear, chiseled and lemony finish. This chalky effort is also very good and I especially like the balance
