It took six weeks to make, progressing through the full process of building, drying, first firing, painting, glazing, and final firing to become a finished piece. Food safe and liquid tight. The work emerges from Tlay Kulbay's exploration of her layered cultural heritage, Turkish, Swedish, and French, and her ongoing dialogue with materials, form, and the body. The wild strawberry motif
