Mangrove Floor Lamp Michael Berman Designed for comfort and durabilityInspired by his days in Florida where banks of mangroves proliferate, Ian Thornton designed the Mangrove Bronze Floor Lamp. Made of cast aluminum in a bronze finish, he created the base detail in the shape of the plant's roots and gave it a knotty surface like the real plant. To enhance the texture, he chose a grasscloth shade to top the composition. The stems that arch up toward the shade are cleverly balanced with the shape of the base.
