Fabulous Rioja gran reserva
It offers enormous purity and finesse
with resonating citrus fruit and mineral notes
saline-tinged finish
Chanson Pere et Fils, Meursault Perrieres Blanc other_regions Fabulous Rioja gran reservaSoft notes of mineral reduction interweave with notes of spiced pear, acacia blossom and cool citrus zest hints. There is good richness but also good detail to the pure and mineral inflected flavors that are quite finely rendered before terminating in a balanced and long finish. There is a very slight touch of backend bitterness though my score assumes that this is due to some unabsorbed sulfur and thus will quickly dissipate. 91 2016+
