Sylvain Cathiard Vosne Romanee 1er Cru Aux Malconsorts 2020 [NET] OLDRIOJA From the producer: The 'vin2020 is the balancing act a warm vintage, no question, but one where the better addresses pulled off ripeness without flab, density without heat. Cathiard's Malconsorts in 2020 lands on that knife edge: the deep red clay of this climat (the upper middle slice, directly adjacent to La Tche) gives ripeness real lift, and Sbastien's restrained hand keeps everything in line. The result is plush, pure, and lifted modern Burgundy at its most coherent.
